An extensive suite of display tools enhances the synergy and user-friendliness of all three PZFlex components: the model builder, the solver, and the post-processor. The FlexLAB interface ties these components together for seamless crossover from model building to problem solving to post-processing. Syntax highlighting and other useful features of the embedded graphics engine help you build models easily and quickly. They provide instant data, analysis, and movie generation of wave propagation and modes.

FlexLAB FEATURES
FlexLAB is an integrated environment for developing and executing models interactively, similar to the Visual C++ programming simulation suite.

Syntax Highlighting - A color-coded system alerts you to a command’s function and place in the hierarchy of commands for easier model building.

Instant Command History - The powerful command line incorporates a history function for reviewing the development of your design, command by command, complete with aids for troubleshooting new model input.

Simultaneous Displays - The enhanced graphics for displaying models are integrated with post-processing capability, so that you can view the model and its effects simultaneously.

Templates to Build On - An assortment of templates supports model programming on the fly and can be used to solve many common design problems. The wizard system eliminates the repetitive and obvious first steps to building any model, allowing you to enter specifications to modify a generalized model rather than starting from scratch each time.

Range of Display Options - A GUI-based defaults section gives you a comprehensive list of preferences for controlling the colors, orientation, scale, font, and other characteristics of the screen display and printed output.

CAD Modeling Integration - Interfaces with CAD packages for greater convenience in solid modeling are under development.

PZFlex recently formed a partnership with SolidWorks (solidworks.com) for more seamless transfer of early-phase designs to PZFlex format.
